Since creating our first culinary adventure in 1989, we have followed a simple philosophy; experience the best the world has to offer; share it with others, and have a great time doing it! We have taken travelers on fantastic culinary adventures throughout Europe, each customized to offer all the great sights, and the small places in between, together with beautiful accommodations and unforgettable gastronomic experiences.

Our travels take us to every region of France, from the breathtaking Mediterranean vistas, old stones and ancient olive groves of the South; the historic beaches and fishing ports of Normandy, to the wild rocky coastline of Brittany. We step back into pre-history in the Dordogne; enjoy the famous foie gras of Perigord and the legendary cuisine of Burgundy, hunt for truffles in the Loire Valley, fall in love with romantic Paris and everything in between. Our horizons expand to include adventures in Spain, Italy, and Germany and beyond!

The World of MBI is Michel Bouit and Elizabeth Bergin, two chefs dedicated to celebrating life through their passion for fine food and its perfect preparation. Whether it's exploring the world through it's regional cuisine or orchestrating international culinary competitions, MBI works hard to create the perfect balance of food and fun that leaves its guests happily sated yet wanting more. MBI Culinary Adventures displays its intimate knowledge of subtle differences in the distinctive cuisines of France, Spain and Italy and other countries, and offers educational programs in France & other European destinations for culinary students.

MBI Culinary Consulting is known worldwide for the creation and orchestration on national and international culinary events and competitions such as the Bocuse d'Or USA, the American selection process for the Bocuse d’Or World Cuisine Contest.

Through the Cooks’ Source, the company is the exclusive importer and distributor of superior hand-made French copper cookware. MBI is also a distributor for Matfer-Bourgeat, specialty kitchen and pastry equipment and French porcelain.
