Chef Michel Bouit

Michel Bouit, owner & president of MBI Culinary Consulting of Chicago, is a French born American. He is known and respected worlwide as an expert in the culinary field and possesses a broad spectrum of business experience and culinary expertise spanning over 35 years. His experience and knowledge have been gained through work in both Europe and the United States, including 20 years as the executive chef & director of dining services of an international bank headquartered in Chicago. His professional affiliations include membership in national and international organizations such as the American Culinary Federation, the World Association of Cooks Societies, the American Academy of Chefs, le Vatel Club du Midwest, the Society Culinaire Philanthropique and Les Amis d'Escoffier. He was honored as "1989 National Chef of the Year" by the American Culinary Federation for whom Chef Bouit served as Central Regional Vice President for 2 terms. He has also received numerous culinary and business awards throughout his career.
