The World of MBI ® offers culinary students the rare opportunity to enhance their education by participating in customized educational programs in his native France. Students spend 10 days in an intensive and spectacular educational program affording them the opportunity to study current cuisine applications through experimental learning, field visits, demonstrations and lectures. The students work in the kitchens of the famous l’Institut Paul Bocuse in Lyon and Ferrandi, l’Ecole Superieure de Cuisine Francais in Paris France’s nationally accredited hotel/restaurant school. The study program includes visits to food markets and world famous chocolatiers, historical and cultural visits in Lyon; Fauchon Food Emporium, E. Dehillerin, the cooks’ shop since 1820, Rungis, the world’s largest wholesale market and Maison Grand Marnier; cultural visits in Paris, the Palace of Versailles, and unparalleled dining experiences, providing a real-world perspective. The educational programs are offered several times throughout the year, and can be customized for your curriculum.

 

Chef Michel accompanies the students from start to finish. He knows the chefs and the gastronomy, the cities and the countryside, the history and the culture…. and the language!
